We walk together,

in this rain,

hand held in hand,

with smiles of joy;

exchanging glances,

this unity will not be cloyed.

So calm we feel,

so full of grace;

but our embrace,

is soon replaced,

by mournful grief,

brought upon,

by streaks of light,

a truly blinding,
