Namitha is all set to take up the baddie’s role in Ilaignan. The glamour girl was suggested for the role by none other than the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu M Karunanidhi. When the director of Ilaignan, Suresh Krishna and hero Pa. Vijay were scouting for a suitable face, they seemed to have agreed upon Namitha.
When the role was discussed with the actress, she immediately agreed to don the greasepaint. The shooting of Ilaignan is currently on and the lady is expected to join the team soon.
Ilaignan’s script has been penned by M Karunanidhi. The movie is produced by S Martin.
