TRAGIC DAY-DEC 26TH 2004

GOD is said to be the SUPREME power and next to it nowadays we can rank satellites...the satellite which right now roams in the domain of god can be said as a SUPER power...But this so called super power that keeps an eye on the earth and the supreme power that is credited to have created the earth both failed to save the world and my TamilNadu in the hour of need, a truth the world knows. Example DEC 26th 2004.the day of disappointment that shocked millions of tamilans....when their properties, house and their millions of beloved ones were lost in the dreadful wave tsunami...

A tsunami can be generated when converging or destructive plate boundaries abruptly move and vertically displace the overlying water. It is very unlikely that they can form at divergent (constructive) or conservative plate boundaries. This is because constructive or conservative boundaries do not generally disturb the vertical displacement of the water column.  Subduction   zone related earthquakes generate the majority of all tsunamis.

A tsunami has a much smaller amplitude (wave height) offshore, and a very long wavelength (often hundreds of kilometers long), which is why they generally pass unnoticed at sea, forming only a slight swell usually about 300 mm above the normal sea surface. A tsunami can occur at any state of the tide and even at low tide will still inundate coastal areas if the incoming waves surge high enough.

This dreadful wave hit TamilNadu on Dec 26th 2004.  Thousands of people have lost loved ones, their homes, means of subsistence, and their possessions leaving them destitute Houses, small businesses, roads and bridges have been destroyed or damaged. Perhaps a third of those killed were children. Many were swept away before the eyes of horrified, helpless parents. The killer waves that moved with ferocious speed across an unprecedented expanse of Tamil Nadu landscape flung their victims about with a randomness that was all but impossible to comprehend. Hundreds of bodies of those who died ended up in trees, or entangled in electrical power lines, or embedded in the mud of hillsides. The grief-stricken continue to throng, clawing through mud and rubble, peering into the faces of the severely injured, wandering through piles of decaying corpses, and digging deep into the mounds of sand in search of loved ones. Despite the effective deployment of the army men, coastal guards under the control of the Union Government and the police and administrative personnel of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, scores of villages marooned by the seawater and mountains of debris still remain unreachable.

Even though the government has given the affected with house and compensation…it mite wipe of their poverty but cannot match or wipe of the pain which they suffer due to the loss of their beloved ones…

GHOST EXISTS OR NOT

i believe in the saying that both good and evil forces exist in this world...so i do believe that ghost exists in this world..those souls which have an endless desire, which they are unable to perform before their death, would stay in as the evil force....

Actually the word ghost in reffers to ''spirit'' or ''soul''..though some of the ghost phenomena have been proven fraud and some of them remain unanswered,.actually the reality of ghost is a controversial subject...there is very small line that seperates the believer from the skeptics....i have heard of so many stories from ma frends describing abt ghosts...mostly it is said that it can be realised through mirror and it is said that they never harm any of the creatures...i am not able to come to a proper conclusion with these things....so it is left to you readers, whether it exist in reality or not??

BE YOURSELF-NEVER CHANGE

Friends in this atrocious and scornful world, many of them tend to copy up things and try to escape from the situation in which they are held up......But it is always better to be ourselves ,do things in our own style coz always an original is worth more than a copy...

Friends I like to share a few things in which people tend to change themselves, try to copy or tend to act upon others advise....but its always worth to commit our own mistakes, do things in our own style, take our own decisions....

Many of us in this world are trying to impress the others in order to get whatever they wish....in this process, they lose their originality...for instance lover who changes his habit for his partner, a student always dependent on his parent even for very small things, a subordinate who does several things to impress his superior, an actor repeating the action of the great ones to impress the common people...in this process they lose their originality and their own uniqueness....

A student always copies during his class test when he s not much prepared...in the mean process he loses his originality......here he can write whatever he knows and can commit his own mistakes and learn from it.....A lover who gives up his smoking habit for the other...as times passes their love may not succeed....here the guy loses his lover and originality too...A career of a student is mostly decided by their parents or they are making their children to do whatever they wanted to do...here the student his originality and his career.....An actor tries to copy the other one who is senior to him,...it may fetch his film well commercially...but in this process he loses his originality....friends there are inspirations to each and every individual, take only their principles and good activities.....don’t copy their entire character.....then u mite lose your originality..........I like to finish it with these lines

''THEY LAUGHED AT ME COZ AM PRETTY DIFFERENT AND I TOO LAUGHED AT THEM COZ THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME....SO BE YOURSELF......BE ORIGINAL''

DEFINITION OF STYLE-RULING THE CINEMA INDUSTRY MORE THAN 3 DECADES...

My god!!wat or how to start about this man!!!style,style,style,style.......its the right word to start!!!he has ruled the south indian film industry over 3 decades and won an army of true fans, who are waiting to carry on his instructions......he is world wide famous and petly known as SUPERSTAR or THALAIVAR.......
Wat made ma superstar so unique from others???I think his harwork,punctuality,magnanimity,simplenes.......the list goes on......THE UNIQUE THING ABOUT HIM IS.....in his early days he has worked as a coolie, carpenter, the stylish conductor....he didnt have much money to cum even to chennai....his true frend gave him the money and motivation to enter into the film industry....it was none other than the driver who worked with him....the driver who worked with him was his schoolmate...he was amazed of the acting skills which he saw during his school days.....so he didnt want rajni's skills to go unutilised....so he did the right thing by helping him....else we would have missed a great superstar....
He then came to chennai....by gods grace he met balachander sir...actually he was searching for a person to do a small role in his film APOORVA RAGANGAL....he was greatest villain during his early times....then he debuted himself as an hero in the film BHUVANA ORU KELVI KURI...then did some different roles in the fims like AARILIRINDHU ARAPATHU VARAI,RAGHAVENDRA,BABA,KUSELAN...eventhough some of them didnt fetch enough commercially.....he too risked a few movies.....his era of success started with BILLA AND TILL NOW ITS CONTINUING....HE HAS BECOME ROLE MODEL TO MANY OF THEM IN FILM INDUSTRY AND EVEN COMMON PEOPLE WITH HIS UNIQUE QUALITIES...TILL NOW NONE OF THEM COULD MATCH THE RANGE OF THE COP CHARACTER WHICH HE DID IN ''MOONDRU MUGAM'' AS ''ALEX PANDIAN''......Am also one among his MILLIONS OF FAN....Am his fan from the AGE OF TROUSERS TILL NOW.......''U ROCK SUPERSTAR''

TAMIL-ICONIC HISTORY

6000 years (or more) before. Yes 6000 years past from 2004! Humans then lived, should have lived, we all know that! These humans still live, but what along?

Can U ever imagine one thing that existed 6000 years before, that still life along with the humans? Can it be, wood?  Stone?   Metals! Even the mightiest of mountains were torn to pieces of stones in 6000 years. Many species were extinct and many other species evolved. The humans themselves changed their form Several times But yes, to every one’s surprise, to every one’s disbelief there exists, something, except for the mother earth itself that still exists amongst us. What could it be?

It is a gift that history has left with us. Yes, it certainly should be called a gift. Its an heritage, an legacy, philosophy, a way of life that has stood the test of time for 6000 years, that is still followed, and still spoken! Yes still spoken, by not just few, but 60 million people on this same earth

Tamil on Friday became the country’s first ‘classical language’ a category created by the union cabinet to satisfy the aspirations of heritage and legacy of the people.

"The Tamil language is the official language of the State of TamilNadu (population over 48 million) in southeast India and is also spoken by some 4 million people living in different parts of the world…..

There is a scholarly literature in Tamil dating back to the early centuries of the Christian era. The language is of Dravidian origin. The Dravidians were the founders of one of the world's most ancient civilizations, which already existed in India sometime before 1000 BC when the Aryans invaded the sub-continent from the north.

The Aryans, who spoke the Sanskrit language, pushed the Dravidians down into south India. Today 8 of the languages of northern and western India (including Hindi) are of Sanskrit origin, but Sanskrit itself is only spoken by Hindu Brahman priests in temple worship and by scholars. In southern India, 4 languages of Dravidian origin are spoken today. Tamil is the oldest of these.

The History of TamilNadu begins with the 3 kingdoms, CHERA, CHOLA and PANDYA, which are referred to in documents of the 3rd century BC. Some of the kings of these dynasties are mentioned in and the age between the 3rd century BC and the 2nd century AD is called the Sangam Age. At the beginning of the 4th century AD the Pallavas established their rule with KANCHIPURAM as their capital. Their dynasty, which ruled continuously for over 500 years, left a permanent impact on the history of TamilNadu, which was during this period virtually controlled by the Pallavas in the north and the Pandyas in the south.

In the middle of the 9th century a Chola ruler established what was to become one of India's most outstanding empires on account of its administrative achievements (irrigation, village development) and its contributions to art and literature. The Age of the Cholas is considered the golden age of Tamil history.

Towards the end of the 13th century the Cholas were overthrown by the later Pandyas who ruled for about a century an d were followed by the Vijayanagara Dynasty, whose greatest ruler was Krishnadeva Raya (1509-1529), and the Nayaks of Madurai and Tanjore.

The Colonial Age opened in the 17th century. In 1639 the British East India Company opened a trading post at the fishing village of Madraspatnam, today Madras, the capital of Tamil Nadu. In 1947, India achieved Independence. The overwhelming majority of the population of Tamil Nadu is Hindu, with active Christian and Muslim minorities.

THE QUEEN OF MARINA

The queen of marina, anyone has a guess??obviously none of u will have.....am talking about an m.t.c bus......ITS 12G-PETLY KNOWN AS ''THE QUEEN OF MARINA''.. The reason ma fellow passengers gave is , its the rocking bus which squeezes the breeze of marina and brush the vehicle which rush infront of it...only the above said things happens once in a blue moon...i was mystified wat made the fellow passengers keep on chanting  it so......am also a passenger of this appalling bus.....when u look at this bus at a long distance itself u can make a wild guess that it is 12g nu.....such a worst condition or appearance it has, which makes a big difference among the other buses...let the outside appearance be........when i got in.....am sorry i just thought to get in......the people who were waiting for this bus, when bus came they just pressed me inside.......
i have travelled many days in this worst bus......let me tell u people some of ma horrible moments......As the crowd is more, some of our young romeo's take it as an advantage and make the bus ugly with their activities......its just a place where no one has respects others......just hitting hard at the fellow passengers with boots shoe...i think they dont even know the spelling for sorry.......wen a single seat gets vaccated thats it......a never ending fight come....none of them has some courtesy to leave a seat to a old aged person who has even fallen unconscious..he was just taken outside the bus and the bus started its trip....in such a great world we are....i wonder what made our government to write ON WOMEN SIDE AS LADIES AND ON GENTS SIDE NOTHING......EXCEPT BEWARE OF ROBBERS.......THE PROBLEM WHICH ARISES DUE TO THIS IS UNCOUNTABLE......
when a fight comes inside the bus between two of women....thats it.....its worst than second world war.....the words they use.....oh ma god.....biggest dictionary in the world can be published....from the starting point till the end they wnt shut.....even if their hubbies try to convince nothing will happen.,..the crime thats happening in this is countless....many of them have lost their cash,cellphones.....A student who has lost his examination fees,a middle aged man,who has kept his cash for the purpose of hospitilisation of his mom and the list goes on..
Another main thing of this terrible bus is that it covers the main areas like tnagar, pondy bazzar, ashok pillar,k.k.nagar etc.......this bus has made a vital role of making a hero to zero....making many students go late to an exam,a guy to miss his beautiful interview and even sent few of them to heaven....
Frends i think god hereafter instead of sending people to hell, will decide to send the people who have commited sin to this bus and make them travell for their life time......

loneliness

Friends, loneliness its a shattered feeling..being alone can be expressed as a sad, joyfull or emotional feeling according to the individual's mindset..this may even leave an individual to such a depressed state.....let me tell u a small story abt an indviduall....
Vishwa,a boy with full of joy n happiness....he was a simple boy n had great dreams ,chasing to achieve it..he had an army of friends, who would do anything for him..he was always surrounded by friends...having so much joy and fun around.he didnt show much to his friends that they owe a great part in his life..he had a great amount of talents in exra-correcular activities...it wasnt utilised properly or to be precise he wasnt using it properly.....such a person taking life as it comes...he was so playful that he didnt take care of his own career...he was studying his graduation...it was the time, god decided to make his own play into the teenagers life..making his trauma of splitting his friends circle with him....many of them had their own commitments..the lonely guy then realised the worth of his friends.

It was raining heavily outside,he saw a group of birds rushing to the nest...those birds were dancing and having such a fun...on seeing that drops of water started to come from his eyes like a rain....his past memories about friends started to keep on rolling inside him...he tried not to remember abt it....but it just keeps on shaking his mind like a small faithfull dog which keeps on cuming around a master who has provided him with the food n shelter....                                                  on contrast the friends whom he had didnt even bother much..they were all much concerned about their own life and works....this innocent stupid keeps on gng to the important functions and wishes his friends on their bday..he was such an uninvited guest..he never knew that he was not such an important part in their life....vishwa, was just a part and parcel according to his friends....

Friendship, which is just like a rainbow between two hearts....its all sharing the best and worst movements with their beloved ones....he did everything to please everyone.....but nothing seems to have cum by his way.....

Enough is enough...vishwa just wanted to start a new life.....he was in the final  year of his graduation..he then became a person with full of grit and determination...he stayed focussed in his studies...HE WAS A BORN INTELLECT.....BUT LAZINESS HAD MADE HIM A FOOL....he then proved who he was to his family and friends by getting  GOLD MEDAL....

His success story didnt stop with that....he went on to do his postgraduation in texas university,US...he was the college topper there also.......then he was recruited in an mnc..with a 6 figure salary per month....his family was pleased....his friends realised their mistake by not standing with him during the worst situation..they just asked him a sorry...

Vishwa, even though he has come up more than his friends in the society.casual guy with a huge smile hugged his friend and said ''ITS OK DUDE''..thus proving his magnanimity once again...

Thus the odd feeling, has made a boy to look up his own strength and weakness...converting him from A ZERO TO HERO......never leave a friend when they are in need of you!!!!!
